1, electricity consumption
It is the simplest to transform heating equipment into electricity, but the cost is quite high. It's not cheap to buy electric heating equipment. Especially in pigsty, a high-power electric heater must be used. You can't install only one. Once it's started, the electricity meter will be swiped around. It's estimated that the money earned all year round will pay the electricity fee. In addition, electric heating must be connected with wires. High-power electricity is easy to cause fire. Farmers have burned pig houses for heating with wires every year, so they need to think twice about heating with electricity.
2. Burning natural gas
Compared with coal burning, natural gas burning is obviously more environmentally friendly, the cost is much lower than electric heating, and the heating effect is not bad. The state also vigorously advocates that it is a good heating method. However, natural gas must be transported by pipeline. Natural gas heating is just in its infancy in China. Many places have not been able to lay natural gas pipelines, so the farmers in these places should not think about it any more. Natural gas heating is definitely useless this winter.
3. Burning biomass fuel instead
Biomass fuel is a kind of compressed fuel which is made of sawdust and shavings, stumps of fruit trees, corncobs, wood chips, peanut shells, etc. after crushing and screening, and then made by high pressure. This kind of fuel has little pollution and no residue, and its price is similar to coal, so it seems very suitable. However, the calorific value of this fuel is less than two-thirds of that of coal. The calorific value of 1.75 tons of biomass fuel is equivalent to 1 ton of coal, so the cost is poor. Moreover, the biomass fuel is easy to be damped, not resistant to burning, and increases the heating workload. It's not so cost-effective to think about it carefully.
